Cameron – Rugby Coach

Cameron Young is one of our wonderful rugby coaches from Muswellbrook. He has been with Upper Hunter Sense Rugby from when it started in 2017.

Cameron started playing Rugby union when he was 10 years old and his favourite things about playing in a team sport are: being with friends, playing outside and learning about sportsmanship.  He loves coming to Sense Rugby and seeing the children come out of their shell and see the fun they all have each week. He especially loves watching the kids make new friends from different schools.

Cameron’s top tips for players new to the game:

  1. Make sure everyone gets involved.
  2. Always listen to your coaches.
  3. Most importantly—HAVE FUN!
